First Nations Book Awards
Australia, Torres Strait Islands, Timor Leste, Papua New Guinea, West Papua, Papua, Philippines + the islands within Polynesia, Micronesia, Melanesia: each region + each year, writers will be awarded with a prize package of up to A$5,000. INDIGENOUS LITERATURE IN ENGLISH
We ensure writers and creators are rewarded for their cultural and intellectual creativity, to give them the time to reflect and write by the receipt of the Award packages. And to celebrate the awards at the Wokabaut Festival – together.
All Directors and Members of the Circles of Knowledge are volunteers.
